Karan is a dual-qualified attorney with close to 19 years of experience in the legal industry.

On corporate transactions, he focuses on cross-border and domestic private equity, M&A, venture capital, joint ventures, and structured finance. Karan has led numerous headline transactions for marquee clients. His advisory experience is broad-based, ranging from innovating novel structures for fund formation, debt, equity, and hybrid investments to advising clients on private client work, commercial, regulatory, pre disputes advisory and corporate governance matters. He also works actively on advising on W&I insurance matters. While Karan believes in maintaining a sector-agnostic approach, he has gained domain expertise in financial services, technology, e-commerce, healthcare, renewables, and infrastructure.

Karan regularly delivers guest lectures at leading educational institutions and is a permanent faculty member at Economic Times and VCCircle trainings. Karan is also often quoted on legal issues in various publications.
