Our Partner, Ayush Agarwala, along with Rama T. Ponangi, has co-authored an article titled “Why India Had To Open Its Nuclear Power Sector”, published in The Free Press Journal.

The article examines India’s decision to open its nuclear power sector to private participation under the SHANTI Act, and the need to move beyond the limitations of the state-led model to achieve India’s long-term nuclear capacity ambitions. It also explores the role of stronger regulation, private investment and institutional reform in advancing India’s energy security and decarbonisation goals.
